Here Introduction Google Talk

Google Talk is an application/software for windows from Google for voice over internet protocol (VOIP) and instant messaging.

Step by Step Guide Google Talk

-You can download Google Talk from here. Google Talk - Download 

-After installing, open Google Talk by clicking the main/tray icon.

-Enter Google ID and Password for login
-After that enter your Gmail/Google ID and Password in the boxes.
T-hen Click Sign in.
-Once the Sign in process is completed, you need to add friends/contacts Google Talk.
-Click the Add button to add friends/contacts into your Google Talk.
-In the window that opens now, enter your friend’s full Gmail ID

-click Next button  and the Click Finish! button.
-The user will be added to the contact list now.
-Your friends/contacts needed to accept your request before you can start chatting.
-The friend/contact name will be displayed in the contacts list.
-You can send invites multiple requests at a time by separating the USER ID with a coma (,).
-Now you need to wait for your friends to accept your request.
-You will know your request is accepted when the (invited) disappears from the contact name.
-You can add a custom name to the user by Right Clicking.
-You can also Block or Remove a user from your contact.
-Also Withdraw invitation request if the friends/contacts hasn't accepted your invitation yet.
-Once your friend/contact accept your request you can start chating or using the other features.
-You will know your friend is online when the small grayed dot near each user changes to green. -Now you can chat.

Instant Messaging Google Talk

-Clicking the Friend/Contact name will open the chat window.
-You can type your message in the white box on the bottom corner.
-Pressing Enter key will submit/send the message. And you will see a keyboard icon inside the box when your friend/contact is typing the message.

Voice Chatting Google Talk

Here some Trik For Voice Chatting

-For Voice Chatting feature first connect the Mic to the Sound Card Jack. 

-Then open Sounds and Audio Devices from Control Panel.
-Select the Audio Tab. And Click Volume Button under Sound recording.
-Select the Mic option. And make sure the volume is set to Maximum.
-If the Mic option is not visible. Click Options and then Properties.

-In the new window that opens up. Select your Mixer Device (Sound Card).
-And select Mic and Click OK. And close the Recording Control window.
-Now Click Apply and OK.
-After that open Google Talk and Click setting. Select the Audio Tab.
-In it select your sound card in Input - microphone or headset.
-The same with Output - speakers or headset
-Make sure Automatically adjust microphone sensitivity, Unmute speaker for ringing and Unmute speaker and Microphone when on a call features are selected.
-And Click OK.

-Now you are ready for Voice chatting.

-When your Friend/Contact is online.Click the Friend/Contact name and open the chat window.
-In it click the Call button. That will call your Friend/Contact. 

-Your's and your Friend's/Contact's voice input will be shown in the chat window.
-When your Friend/Contact accept the call you can start voice chatting.

-clicking the End Call button will disconnect the Call.

Optional Settings Google Talk
 

Here Some Setting for Google talk
 

-For saving Chat History.

Click settings and select the Chat Tab. In it select Save chat history in my Gmail account

-For getting Notifications/Alerts. 

Click settings and select Notifications Tab. In it select the options of your choice.

-For changing the Chat interface.  

Click settings and select Appearance Tab. In it select the Chat theme of your choice from the drop down menu.

-For Blocking a Friend/Contact.  

Right click the name of the friend/contact and click Block and Click OK.

Optional Features Google Talk

Mail NotificationsYou will get Notifications of new Mails or Voice Mails in the bottom Corner of the main window.

Send Voicemail
If the Friend/Contact is not online you will be able to send voice mails clicking the Send Voicemail button in the Chat Window.

Sending Files
If the Contact/Friend is online you can Send files directly using Google Talk like by P2P.
 

For that Right click the Friend/Contact and Click Sendfiles. Select the File from the system using the Browse window that opens up now and select OK after selecting the file.

The file will be now available for your Friend/Contact to Download.
